The coin op mechanism might just need some cleaning, sometimes surface is the culprit here, just clean area real good with damp cloth (use a special liquid cleaner), they might be some loose wiring as well...I had my former arcade Galaga machine's coin op serviced, the arcade expert fixed the problem in under an hour.

Hope the machine gets cold, if it does, you have gotten a great deal.

      That's great!

If you do buy it, Dr. Pepper can still be found in glass bottles. The Dublin Dr. Pepper is/was the best one (Dublin, TX).

I usually get a case of Dublin Dr. Pepper for Christmas from my wife. Love the real cane sugar.
        Fresh, not from concentrate.

$100 is a great deal for any soda machine that is in vintage condition.

If it does not appear to be missing much, you could likely triple your investment (or more!) without investing another dime.

From the pics, that is a 300 dollar machine as-is.

If it requires minor restoration or replacement of electronics or mechanical components, it could be worthwhile to invest in restoration. If it requires a major overhaul, however, I would consider selling it as is.

I know where to get Dublin Dr. Pepper in bottles. I would restore it and put it to work.

I could charge $5 a bottle for that and would get it no problem.

Congrats, that's a great price. I'm not a Dr Pepper fan at all, but I wouldn't mind getting a vintage Coke machine someday.

www.allstarservices.com i will say the ones we usually get rid of are probably not as old as the Dr Pepper one shown.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
