33 Of Your Childhood Toys That Are Worth A Fortune Now

Time to check the basements and attics. I remember how my ex-girlfriend and her family rolled their eyes at Tomagachis but now...

Also if you think some of these prices are B.S. call it out. I don't entirely trust the article.

Wait, you actually think this has ANY validity? That list is pretty much ENTIRELY BS.

Most of those listings were Buy It Now's. The seller can ask anything they want....I don't think that any of them were completed listings

Only 2 of those sold. The Genesis and the Furby. Also why do I have a feeling all of these are for graded prices?

The only legit things on that list is the Shera, the Prime, the Heman 3 Pack and the Storm Shadow. All of those prices are way above the mark. For the most part the rest of that stuff either had a resurgence in popularity for a hot minute or it's priced with the hopes and wishes of the seller. Im sure a few people want a Game Boy. Teddy Ruxpin is a hard sell unless he's complete in the box with his tapes. Grubby is actually the better of the two to have. You can still buy Easy Bake ovens today and the model they're showing isn't of the collectors variety. The Kinex Roller-coaster looks like it may have cost close to what the seller is asking based on the size of that thing. I think the seller is getting Street Sharks confused with LJN's Tigersharks and unless something has changed recently there is almost no market for Power Rangers or Cabbage Patch dolls. The Evil Warriors 3 Pack is really rare but it isn't something most people even had access to back in the day so while most people had a Spikor, Merman, and Skeletor chances are they didn't get them out of that packaging and when it does come up it doesn't sell for $5,300

              Hmmmm....

I think they're suffering from the "crazy granma price guide" syndrome; with folks asking what they THINK they SHOULD be worth. There's almost no demand for about half those things, and a good number have been reissued/rereleased over the years.

Man the oldest toy on that list is Teddy Ruxpin. I still have my 2 original Teddys and a Grubby, all in working order. I wanted to see some classic toys of the 70s.

Lot of BS prices on that list. Could maybe see the FP castle going for a couple hundred bucks if it were MISB.

I agree, but I have seen the 3 pack go for over that before so i know it's legit..The market is just down at the moment
