Oreo is a derogatory word also meaning a black person who acts white. This doll was pulled from shelves in 1997. This would be about as equally offensive as putting out Uncle Tom's Lincoln Logs.

I shoulda figured. I just thought maybe it was an overseas knockoff toy from a third world country with a sick sense of humor. Still, the idea of snuggling with legless, life-sized Superman is kinda creepy even without the inflate-a-mate mouth.
