Twinkies back in stores today.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Tags: None -
Awesome, great news!
I'm going to buy a 12 pack, and eat the first one whole, the second in one bite, and slowly enjoy the third, lol.
The taste is pure nostalgia, it takes me back, I realize there are superior quality pound cream cakes, like the ones at Whole Foods, those taste heavenly (natural and organic), but lack the childhood taste of Twinkies, I know, strange, I know, lol.sigpicComment

I think more than than the Twinkies are coming back, twinkies are just getting the press because the of the name. If you miss the Fruit Pies and don't see them just hea dand pretty much any gas station of 7-eleven. Tastykake is making them same type of wrapper and all under "glazed pie" and they good.Comment

It will warm my heart seeing them back on the shelves. It was something we grew up with. It just didn't look right with them being gone.Comment

When they stopped making Twinkies last year, I had stocked up with six boxes. I gave them as gifts to friends. Now, a friend who works in distribution returned the favor with one of the first new boxes. They are definitely smaller now. He also said that to meet the expected first rush, these had been made last month and flash frozen.sigpicComment
