Sewing machines with all metal gears instead of plastic or nylon junk.

Mr. Softee ice cream that TASTED like chocolate or vanilla, instead of the blah flavor of today.

Ice cream from above vendor for 25 cents. Right now it's $2.00 and climbing.

Saturday morning cartoons that were entertaining as heck, even with all of the explosions.

Woolworth's instead of Walmart, or Kmart.

A little more modern but still worthy of note... buttons on cellphones.

    Back to the olden days...
Bench style front seats in vehicles
"Must see TV" - you can either DVR everything or just buy the seasons on DVD / Blu-ray ... no longer is it lost in the ether or buried in the vault
Local Disc Jockey's on the radio (this may actually be coming back)
The mystery of KISS without makeup
