Sox pitching will be the question. If Lester and Buckholz can be a solid 3 and 4 they should be easy in the east. Tigers made some huge moves in the offseason that should push them past Cleveland, but I wouldn't count the Indians out. They're young and that energy can sometimes support winning streaks against weaker teams. The west is a disaster in my opinion. The Angels acquired Torii Hunter and that should give them a nice boost. He didn't have a great season last year but instead of Morneau he has Vlad backing him up and that should still mean runs. I think the Sox will win the East, the Tigers will win the Central, and the Angels will win the west. Cleveland or NY will win the Wild Card. Noticed the White Sox are looking at Bartolo Colon. If he goes there the Central will be a war zone and beating up on each other all season could definately wear those three teams out by the playoffs. I don't watch the National League. Sorry.

I'm an Indians fan and I think they could do it this year, but I also feel like last year was their best chance and they blew it. Red Sox and Tigers seem like the teams to beat, but you never know.

I got a Jacoby Ellsbury Red Sox jersey for Christmas this year, and then got nervous because there was talk of trading him to the Twins for a while... I'm hoping he beats out Coco Crisp for starting center fielder.

Now I'm hungry for chocolate cereal.

If my Indians can stay healthy, they have a shot. Our pitching is gonna have to repeat last years performance though, and I'm not sure that is going to happen. Really wish we would have snagged another ace or a corner bat this off season--but we'll see what happens.

Coco will not be with the Sox when the season starts. They'll trade him for some pitching to help with the hole left from the injury to Curt Schilling. Some veteran pitcher that will eat up some innings and fill in temporarily if needed. If that's not available he'll go for prospects to someone that needs a defensive centerfielder at an affordable price. Just gotta see who gets hurt in the preseason. There has been talk the A's might be interested in him as well as the Twins.
