This philosophy seems to show a double standard to me.
Maybe I'm not interpreting the dimensions of the real-proportioned Barbie correctly?
But, to me, the real-proportioned Barbie looks like a skinny hot chick while the actual Barbie looks a bit inhuman all around.
For "a male doll with the look of aging (i.e. balding) men and pot-bellied/fat men" to be on par with "what simply looks like a hot young woman doll who doesn't happen to have the freak-like body proportions of a specific unrealistic toy"... it just seems puzzling.
And KW, it's your post that I'm quoting, but you don't seem to be the only one leaning in this direction.
