What night are you town's fireworks?

Our here are on the 3rd, how lame is that. I mean if you can't have it on the 4th atleast wait until Friday night so more people can enjoy them.
which ones are your favorite. I like the ones that seem to float all the way back down to the ground.

I live in a very rural southern middle Tennessee and we can do them anytime we like. My neighbor was firing some off Saturday night. There aren't really any restrictions.

They do the fireworks in my town on the 4th. The town 4 miles before ours do them on the 3rd. The reason for this here is because they want to make the most out of each venue so they split it up so people can attend both.

Ours is on the 4th. It's pretty impressive display for a town this size.

I live in kinda "cottage country" so I've heard local fireworks going off every night this Canada Day weekend. My town's "official" fireworks will also be happening every night from this weekend until July 4th during our big Friendship Festival (a joint festival between Fort Erie, Ontario and Buffalo, NY). Plus fireworks every night during the summer in nearby Niagara Falls, Ont, so we are kind of spoiled for choice.

As far as I know, Oakland has always had them on the 4th. They shoot them off in Jack London Square, I think. I used to be able to see them from my house, until the tree in front of my house grew too big to see past.
