my new car,finally!! (well used but w/e)

Hey guys,as most of you know my Cobra was stolen(May she rest in pieces)

So i've been looking for the next best thing,a 300zx TT.The cheapest I could find was around $6500-$7000,I was about to buy one yesterday when I decided to look at the autotrader one last time,and some guy had just listed this one for $2000 but with a blown engine so I went to see it this morning and bought it,it does need a little work but nothing expensive.I just bought the engine on ebay for $1350,so i'll end up having a 91 Twin turbo for about $4000,that's unheard of tell me what you think

Sounds like a great deal to me.

I'm not very mechanically inclined but great deal if you are going to do all the installation yourself.

Are you going to do anything different this time to prevent the theft of this car? I would imagine that whoever got away with it the first time will be back.

Based on the bizarre circumstances of the story, I would suspect that the security guard on duty at the time saw exactly what happened and decided he was going to turn a blind eye and not involve himself in the problem.

yeah I don't know if he saw it,I'm the old guy just went to sleep..But who knows.Well i'm either going to put full cover this time or the low jack system and definitely a better alarm.

I'll probably be moving out of here soon anyway

To be honest, I don't like it as much as your Cobra...but it's going to be a monster with that new engine.

Congrats, it is a cool-looking ride, very sporty with lots of acceleration.

Don't rely on the security guard, he shouldn't be part of your auto security picture, forget him.

Aside from an improved alarm system, also add an engine kill switch, a Club, and finally this:

Auto Security / Anti Theft and Parking Enforcement Products - Boots!

If you are going to get a car cover, make sure it also has a lock...otherwise they are going to steal that as well. But the cover can act as a deterrent because thieves just like to tackle easy and fast...they don't want to bother with extra stuff you have set up...so all those ant-theft devices are good because that would be too many things for them to worry about.

yeah I had a sup'd up 89 240sx which was beautiful,great little car
