Yep, it's been confirmed: movie icon Brian Blessed has finished his astronaut training in Moscow (800 hours), and is slated to go to the ISS in 2014.
He will be the oldest man to go into space, at the age of 78.

My only regret: there's no sound in space, so we won't hear him shouting "Gordon's aliiiiive!!!!!"
