Any coin collectors/dealers out there? Advice needed.

I randomly came across a tube of buffalo nickels in a odd-box-lot of awesome lab-glass at an auction about a year ago.

I had started to look into them back then, but since I know nothing about coin collecting, it was hard to keep engaged, so I kinda just left them on the to-sell shelf.

I started again to sort them tonight as I was preparing to list a bunch of stuff, and I think i have too many questions to feel comfortable listing them without looking into them a bit more.

I feel as though I've identified them all, but I am having issues figuring out what to list them for, if I should list them in one lot, or break them up into years and mint marks... you know, those kind of questions.

Conditions vary, but most seem to be in what I would consider circulated shape, like you would get as change from a store (but again, I don't know how coin conditions are defined).

I'll post a list of what's there. anyone mind sharing some generalized insight on the list for me?

    1916-S x 4
    1916-? x 1
    1916-D x 21
    1917-S x 1
    1917-? x 1
    1917-D x 8
    1918-D x 1
1918-S x 5 (1 looks pretty well to be a two feather version)
    1919-S x 5
    1920-S x 1

Any insight or opinions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

1916 nickel value starts at $3 to $6. Nickels minted at the Denver and San Francisco mint are valued higher. Also, better condition increases how much your Buffalo nickel is worth.

I would pick some thing like this on the cheap Vinyl-coin-flips.jpg And start them out at a buck. Take nice pics and describe then as good.
