My idea of HD-TV is cleaning my glasses before I watch

Yeah, but this would give you a portable HDTV (depending on the resolution of your laptop screen).

It looks really cool, but I'd be worried how well that antenna would pick up signals in my area. I'm currently using rabbit ears to pick up HDTV signals on my main television, and the signal is so-so on many channels (lots of pixellation and freezing). I may have to install a big antenna on the roof to get better reception.

I have this. It works great with the cable hook-up. I originally bought it to use at work when we were considering switching to comcast for our internet service, but we decided not to in the long run so I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I actually paid $10.00 more than that at Best-Buy and that was at the after Turkey Day sale so the price is pretty good. If you have an application where you want to watch cable TV on your laptop I highly suggest it. I don't really see how much better it is with HD but you do notice the difference between the two, but the screen is so small compared to a TV it's not as noticable for regular viewing. It's not great with the antennae hook up either, though I guess it's not any worse than a regular TV is. It's been so long since I watched regular TV.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
