Patriots' Aaron Hernandez charged with 1st degree murder

Hernandez charged of murdering Odin Loyd, a semi-pro football player.

Also charged with five counts of illegal possession of firearms.

Hernandez erased his security camera footage and handed police his broken cell phone.

Patriots of course immediately released him.

Jesus, all that fame and fortune, looks like all that is going down the drain, what an idiot.

I thought the same thing- if someone gave me a $40m contract and a 12m signing bonus, I think I'd lay pretty low. Then again, maybe most people start that way until you come into multi millions... and then the drugs take over
    Looking for:
    • Lincoln Monsters (Any condition)
    • Boxed Mego Monsters
    • AHI Jigglers / Bendy Monsters (Carded and Loose)
    • ANYTHING Monster related

Millions of well off drug addicts don't murder (no evidence of drugs has been mentioned)...there's more to it than that I'm sure.

Been waiting for this to come down for a few days. He has a history of gun use in the past. Tebow as a tight end sounding like an idea.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Hernandez was one of the best TE's in the league...Tebow is nowhere near his skill level in that position.

Nobel idea though...and you never know...lol.

People complain about Gronk going to clubs and stuff but at least he doesn't do anything like this. At least not yet.

A lot of these guys don't feel "right" upgrading their friends and their associations when they become successful. They would rather "keep it real" and bring their old friends and ways to their new lives and success. This often does not work out very well.

According to the prosecution, Hernandez murdered the victim because he didn't like something that he said to another person, at a club, the weekend before. Prior to the murder, they have footage of him saying "You can't trust anyone anymore." In addition to that, the prosecution stated that their is an incredible amount of surveillance footage evidence. We shall see.

I'm a Boston fan. Hernandez has been a trouble maker/dope smoker since College. Good riddance! And no Tebow shouldn't play TE. He can remain the 3rd string QB for all I care.

I think the Pats had inside info on the charges cause they got rid of him like we would a booger on a finger, flicked and forgotten. They didn't even wait for arraignment or for the obligatory "let's wait and see how justice plays out" crap. They knew what was up beforehand.

Now, I am in the camp that they try out Tebow as TE or flanker. You do not keep an athlete like that on the practice squad. His arm is suspect, but his athleticism and heart are not. Play the dude.

He's also been linked, loosely, to gangs in his old CT neighborhood. The Latin Kings I think. Bad guy all around. Didn't erase his system well enough because they said they have footage of him leaving his house that night with a gun. I work for ADT and trust me...you can't get rid of all your home security info. Even if he ripped the system and cameras out of the walls and smashed his DVR.

The van that drove him in went right by the top of my street. He's being held about 2 miles from my house. The head of the prison being interviewed on ESPN is a friends boss, I've met him a bunch of times. I know several guards that work there as well. It's no surprise the Pats were quick to act, I'm sure Kraft has some pretty good lawyers that had the inside info. What throws me off the most is, he's been exceptional since he's been here. He definitely had past history. Even a new baby didn't keep him on the right path it seems. Too bad, was a good player. From what I've seen they have a lot of evidence. He's going down for something either way, even if they don't have the murder charge.

Boston Globe is reporting that police are investigating his possible involvement in a 2012 double murder and that Odin Lloyd may have been a witness in that case.
