Need help remembering a one hit wonder group from the early 90's

Here's a challenge for everyone. It's driving me nuts trying to remember the name cause it's right there in the back of my head ready to burst out but I can't quite get it there. This was either very late 80's or very early 90's. The group was all male except for the female singer. I'd consider them a one hit wonder, but they don't show up on any top 100 one hit wonder lists. I remember the video getting played to death but maybe the song wasn't all that popular. The band name had something to do with the south, if I remember correctly. It wasn't the Georgie Satellites, although that sets off a bell in my mind so maybe it was close. The song was kind of a fast folksy pop song. I remember the video had somebody skateboarding in it. That's about all the info I can give. This ring a bell to anyone?

Yeah, I know the info is sketchy. I am racking my brain trying to remember more but nada, for now. It definitely wasn't DMR. This band's big hit was either '89 or very early 90's. MTV and VH1 played their video to death.

Definitely not Edie Brickell. She was WAY too folksy. This band was mostly pop rock with a teeny bit of folk mixed in. And it might not even be the sound that had any folk in it. I remember the female lead singer looked kinda folksy so that might be coloring my judgment.

Could it have been "Southern Culture on the Skids?" They've got a couple of guys and one girl in the band, and were around during that time frame.

I got it. The name finally showed up on my 10 millionth Google search. However, my timing was off. It was 1985. Lone Justice was the band and "Ways to be Wicked" was the name of the tune.
