                    Ah man, I missed it this time. I remember seeing it as a kid, not knowing what it was, but knowing it was WAY bigger than usual.

                    I think almost every shot of the moon in a movie (or especially a comic book) must be a super moon.

                        I set my alarm, went outside, and although I saw the moon, it didn't really look all that much closer. I should have just stayed in bed.

                            Cloudy here last night, maybe I might get a look tonight.

                            Don't want to hijack the thread but I've taken some great photos of the night sky ( Hale Bopp comet, eclipse of the sun & amazing aurora borealis ) and if anyone would be interested I'll post them - in another thread.
