It's a messed up weird world sometimes...
1) Dead body found in a porta potty at my High School being renovated. Female, approx 40yrs of age. Limited info so far, no foul play suspected. Assumption so far is she was homeless.
2) Hit and Run shortly after midnight...kicker is, the victim was a 17 MONTH OLD CHILD! Seriously? who the hell lets a 17 month old outside to play in the street after midnight? I know there are ten different scenarios that could explain this (like the kid snuck out), but honestly, in my town...and the extremely high poverty/drug addict population - this type of tragedy does not surprise me. The driver has yet to be identified.
