Tornado and New baby all in the same week

Oddly enough I found out my wife is expecting our second child. She should be due in October when my birthday and our 3 years already is. Then Sunday we had a terrible tornado tear through our little town. It destroyed wal-mart/Kmart and several homes and smaller business.
We live in an apartment complex where it went through the center. I enjoy living in Apartment because I always get an upstairs and back apartment. Lucky enough it went through and destroyed many cars and some fellow residents. That's the second Tornado I have been through and they are never fun for anyone esp. those who lost everything.
our apartment was untouched and I was able to get out an help others out of their apartment and light debris.

So i got good and bad news all in one week.

here's the video from the news. you have to go through about have before they show the fly over

Tornados suck and so do babies (Really they love to suck their milk and thumbs!)

Glad you were not hurt in the Tornado and CONGRATS on baby #2. I have a 6 and a 3 year old and they are the best! Loads of fun even when they take and destroy my toys!
Too many toys. Not enough space!

yeah I have tim, I use to think of my toys during bad weather , now I grabbed our wedding book and baby book..lol.

I guess that's why I have always had my toy collection spread out in several locations.

We just had a tornado go through my neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. It didn't do much to our house, but took out a garage across the road before it went and tore up my old high school. I can definitely relate. Glad to hear that you're okay, and congrats on the good news!

                        Congrats on the baby.

Glad you survived the tornadoes. We had our round of bad weather 2 weeks ago. Noting like living in Tornado Alley.

From a two time Dad, congrats! Glad you came out unscathed. We had a tornado hit our town two weeks ago. We got away with only some shingle loss on our house.

Congrats on the new baby! And glad to hear you came through the storms safe.

That same storm system set several tornados up here in TN. My county Macon was the hardest hit in the state. We had 14 dead and over 200 homes destroyed. Pres Bush stopped by and signed the papers for fed aid. It's been just over 2 weeks and alot of healing has started, but alot of hurting is going to be around for many years.

                              Sorry to derail your thread.
