UFC 160 - my buddy won!!

Not sure if there's any UFC fans here but last night I jumped right out of my seat when TJ Grant scored the knock down, followed by the 1st round TKO to win a title shot!

TJ lives a few minutes from my house and I met him when he was an unknown just breaking into UFC. He was a humble, gentleman and all class. He's now a new daddy and still humble and respectful.

I LOVED seeing him earn his big chance and thanks to Mike Tyson for getting him "fight of the night" again!

Looks like he'll get his shot August 17th against Henderson.

Awesome card and my new favorite mma fight ever!

    Congrats to your friend!

Oh, and Cain Velasquez (who retired Brock Lesnar) is the baddest man on the planet right now, he just destroyed Bigfoot Silva again.

Can't wait to see his third fight with Junior Dos Santos, each has a win, let's get it on with the trilogy already, lol.

Um, how do you figure Cain Valasquez retired Brock when Brock's last fight was against Overeem?

I thought Aldo gets the next shot if he beats Pettis?

Cain retired him as a serious threat...Overeem just had the table scraps, lol.

TJ grant is one tough dude! Cant wait to see him fight for the title- congrats!

And I agree - Cain retired Brock. Reem was on steroids when he fought Brock( I dont count that fight ). Look at before & after pics of Overeem- what a joke. Yet he is coming back soon, I forgot the date.
