31 degrees!!!!!!!

Here it is at the end of May, and it was 31 last night. There is frost mornings out for tonight too. Good thing the plants are all still in pots, everything will be back inside for the next day or so.

We had a night like that last week. Got around 38 or so.

I had a jacket on mowing the yard yesterday evening.

I have to say I prefer it to the 90 degree May we've had for the past several years.

It was freezing last night over here, can you imagine?

It hasn't been warm here since 2010!
We've had two wet and cold summers in a row, and the next one isn't looking too good either.

Cold? Frost? Tell me about it. Third night in a row we sat out in our fields deciding if and when to turn on the irrigation. Makes for super long nights when you do nothing but watch the thermometer and humidity. Toss in some fun, middle-of-the-night math to see what the immediate drop in temp will be if you turn on the water and it makes for just a bang up night.

Was like 92 here yesterday with high humidity. Some dry air has moved in today so it's better.

It was cold enough last night that I didn't want to sit outside with the fire pit. I think it'll be a little warmer tonight, so I might give it a shot...maybe take out a TV and watch NHL playoffs.
