I still think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is BS considering it's privately owned and the judges are friends of the owners.

While I like Dennis Deyoung, I'd rather hear Tommy Shaw sing about Ritz Crackers than ever hear Lady again. And if we're giving Ringo love, mark me down for Phil Collins.Comment

Dennis DeYoung is STYX. Not Tommy Shaw. Go to see both and you tell me what one sounds like the real thing. Really I would like to see them kiss and make up. Same with Journey. That little guy they have now tries to much to be like Perry. Be yourself. Like Hagar did with Van Halen."JUST 2 GOOD OLE BOYS,NEVER MEANING NO HARM "Comment

For me, Styx is Crystal Ball, Blue Collar Man, Renegade, etc. more than Mr. Roboto etc. I see Dennis as another Michael McDonald. I too wish they'd bury the hatchet, I know Dennis is genuinely hurt that they'll have nothing to do with him. Don't get me wrong, I simply prefer TS - nothing against Dennis.
I think the issue with Journey is that Steve is half nuts, and he has lost a lot of range. Neil Schon will play with anyone, Steve just needs to want to do it.....if he still can. If he can't, I can understand why he'd stay retired vs. mumbling and wheezing his way through a set like DLR or Ian Gillian.Comment

Dennis doesn't need them really. His shows are awesome. As my friend said who went to both concerts" Dennis does a better Tommy Shaw , then Tommy shaw does Dennis'. he even has Glenn Burtnik playing with him sometimes. When I hear a TS song come on I change it. As for Steve Perry I think can still do it. Just doesn't want to patch things up."JUST 2 GOOD OLE BOYS,NEVER MEANING NO HARM "Comment

i agree with tmanstoys, Dennis DeYoung is the sound of Styx. nothing wrong with Shaw but their best hits were all DeYoung. I have seen Shaw live as a single act and with Damn yankees several times and he puts on a great show but he has always struck me as an arrogant *******Comment
