Retro portion of Gorton's "Simply Bakes" commercial

Has anyone seen this? The retro part of this commericial (first 14 seconds) is so short, but the attention to detail is really spot on. (or should I say Right On!)? The little girl, the dishes, the kitchen, even the entry into the living room looks like it was plucked right from the 70s. Did anyone else house look like this? Our apartment was done mostly in browns and hard wood w/ a smantering of orange and yellow, but I knew people who houses looked like this.
