Can I have one of those ???

What Toy...etc did you really really really want but never got, and never got over it ?

I always wanted a Raleigh Chopper bike

my friend David had one, which he never let me on. So on my Chrimbo list was a bike...I got a BMX. It was cool I could jump over ramps and get gravel embedded in my knees as I fell over, but a Chopper was like a lowrider, Just cool, just like Easy Rider but without getting your head blown off.
I still ride a bike to work each day...NOT a BMX,
but still I know it would be impractical but I would love a Chopper (bike that is)

I started thinking about this as I successfully taught my two daughters to ride there bikes today.
It was abit sad as it felt as if they no longer need me.
I'll take them to the park (when the sun comes out) and when they get chased by dogs then they'll need me

I really wanted Smash-up Derby and the Evel Kinevel bike set. I'm gonna buy smash-up derby on eBay some day.

      Hmmm...

I wanted a Big Wheel. I still want one.

A Barbie Town house. I had to make my own version using 2 plant tables, and lots of small boxes.

Action Jackson's Rescue Copter. I remember asking Santa for this, only I couldn't write too well at that time, so I drew pictures, complete w/ the remote switch that said On and Off.

Extra Barbie outfits. I had to make due switching the outfits of the ones I had around. I also wanted more Bionic Woman outfits, but only got 2.

Do you still have the drawn xmas picture ??

My youngest daughter is just learning to write.
She drew a picture of a bowl of fruit and tried to write
"Good Food" but ended up writing "God Fod" with a back to front G.
        I love stuff like that.

I had a chopper back in the 70s in Mexico, loved it.

It was a status symbol down there, it was mostly ridden by the wealthier kids, they were also the bulk of the Lili Ledy buyers.

Great little bike, slow as heck though.

Unfortunately, no, I mailed it to Santa! I do remember it was on yellow lined tablet paper and a navy Flair felt tip pen. AJ's head looked kinda square.

I had a bike pretty similar to that one. Dad used to restore bicycles to make a little extra money, so he put it together for me. Still haven't found a photo of it. I wanted a removeable cowl Batman.

I wanted a Chopper but never got one.....until I was in my late 20s and I ended up with two of them, an orange MK1 and a yellow MK2. Great fun, especially on returning home from the pub drunk.
