    Frakin' Allergies

Got 'em in the lungs, throat, and sinuses. Blowing and coughing up a lot of phlegm and mucus over the last few days. The doctor currently has me on an inhaler and nasal spray which has been making me a little goofier than I normally am.

I feel your pain. Mine is mainly my eyes. Sometimes they run down my face so bad I can hardly see. The itching is also off the hook too.

Allergies have been horrible this year in Louisville. Tree pollen has been so high that even people without typical allergies are suffering. So if you're predisposed to have allergies, your butt is getting whacked right now. I have nonstop drainage in my throat. It sucks. Been using Neti Pot to help flush out the allergens in my nose but it's not quite enough. Would love to hear some home remedies if anyone has any.

A spoon full of locally grown honey daily helps. It has to be locally grown so that it will have pollen that you will be exposed to. Both my wife and aunt say this helps.

Neither Ed nor I have allergies, but our dog does; he takes a Zyrtec every morning.
