You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Ok, Monday's surgery was successful, I was discharged the same day, but couldn't post because I was in a lot of pain, especially when I woke up from the procedue, I must've been given about five morphine shots, thank god for drugs, say yes to drugs, then I was given really massive amounts of pain killers to take home...once home, I drank about a half a gallon of water because I so thirsty (IV fluids be damned), the pain started subsiding a bit, even managed to watch my Warriors blow the game against the Spurs, lol.
I have not eaten since Saturday 6pm, now it's Tuesday 11:22 am, strangley enough, I'm not really hungry, but I'm still thirsty, just started to drink a little bit of apple juice, then later in the day, will have a soup.
Yes, I had a small bowel moment, but did not hurt as much as I thought it was going to hurt, that's because it's all liquid, lol.
My hardened vein is gone and also was told I had a fissure, but both are gone now.
The surgery was tougher than I expected, but glad I did it, feeling better by each passing hour.
Thanks again for your best wishes.
Oh, than god I have a bidet, mankind's best invention, lol.

Good to hear, just rest and take it easy, you'll back on a bar stool in no time.
Great to hear that it went good, and awesome that you got to come home the same day. Now if you would have just froze a couple McRibs you could be healing up in good style.
