If any White Castle fans are ever traveling down I-70 thru the state of Kansas, make sure to stop by The Cozy Inn in Salina. It's a tiny 6 stool burger stand that makes sliders the way White Castle USED to make em--fresh hamburger meat with fresh onion flattened out by the cook on the grill--same size as White Castle. They've been around since 1922.....

I've never tested the threshold of how many I can eat. I doubt I'd like the aftermath. However the way I have them made it's not really a slider anyway. I get them made no onion or pickle and just add ketchup, so that may be considered cheating. I may have eaten ten before, can't remember. I also think their fries are maybe in the top two or three of all chains.

Onions and mustard on a roll. I go to Crystal about once a year to remind myself why I haven't stopped by for a year.

Yeah, and throw me in a jalapeno cheeseburger, too. Still, I'm a little worried about what part of the chicken they get the ring from.

I always had to add kitchup & mustard to mine.

Ha! Sounds like the East Coast version of our Tommy's. My friends and I would go to the original on Rampart after a night of partying. Half the people in line could barely hold themselves up.

I would say that in a White Castle that the meat, altho thin, is pretty juicy. They fry/steam those things in a lot of water w/the onions. I like the pickles on them. The fries are only good hot. After they cool throw `em out. They get like cardboard.
