    Printer woes...

So, my home office printer looks like the print head chip is gone. It's a pixma canon all in pn mp560. Very nice photos and text. Had it a while, not to used. Print head is 50 bucks. Thinkin of just getting a new printer. Anybody recently bought one?
You try to read the reviews etc and you sort through so many things, ink cost... I was looking at the HP Envy 120, but it's $200 bones.

Printers are pretty well disposable these days, instead of buying expensive ink, I usually just buy a new printer. I recently bought a wireless HP one for $39, works great. The only older printer I keep around is a Canon photo printer because it has a tray that allows you to print on DVDs.

Well that's my thought's, except it has to be a pretty good photo printer also, then you start looking and now some are wireless E, so you can print wireless from your phone s and tablets etc... and your like..Oh that's cool. lol. You go in looking for a 60.00 printer and come out in the $200.00 price range lol and that's online, no salesman. It drives me nuts.

Yeah, I guess it all depends what you are printing and the quality you want. Canon Pixmas are great for photos that's for sure, my new HP can't touch my Canon for that. But I have to admit that wireless is great, we have the HP tucked away in my office downstairs, and can print to it from any computer in the house, or from a cell phone, etc. But if you want a wireless printer that does great photos, you might have to spend a bit more than I did for mine.

Well, I ended up going with this one. After the wife got done doing online deals, it came out to 198 total with tax and 10 bucks cash back from ebates.
