I don't like Miracle Whip, it's too sweet for me...it will ruin my sandwich, that's for sure.

As far as traditional mayo vs mustard is concerned, it really depends on what...for example...I find mayo on a hot dog disgusting...mustard rules on a hot dog.

Not too crazy with mayo on a burger either, I prefer a burger with mustard, ketchup, on a slighty buttered bun.

I do however, love mayo on a sandwich/sub (with mustard too)...mayo and mustard mixed with tuna is pretty good too.

Mayo and mustard on a burrito is an abomination, and whoever makes one likes that, should go to jail, lol. Sour cream is acceptable though.

Generally I prefer mayo, but in trying to cut fat out of my diet (I will not eat the abomination that is fat free mayo-that crap is gross) I've switched to mustard. There was a taste-bud learning curve, but I've gotten used to it. Sometimes though I still splurge on mayo for sammiches and burgers. I go for the Hellmans Olive Oil kind.

I might use very little mustard on a sandwich, but for some reason mayo is one of those things I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole! Yuck.

Just wanted to find out if there's any other mayo people here.

          Balonie sandwich ?

          Roast Beef sandwich ?

          Ham sandwich ?

I'm a mayo guy on all of the above.
          How about you ?
Bologna sandwich = Mayo, never mustard.

Roast beef sandwich = Mustard, never mayo.

Ham sandwich = I do either but lean toward mayo.

Ketchup on hot dogs is for kids, man. Either just mustard, mustard onions and relish, or anything like a Chicago dog or Japan dog. Anything but ketchup.

I favor miracle whip over mayo, and alternate or use both miracle whip and mustard on ham, turkey, bologna or roast beef sandwiches. But a mixture of horse radish and mayo is also excellent on roast beef.

Mustard and relish on hotdogs. On burgers, I go with the trinity - miracle whip, mustard and ketchup plus red onions, lettuce, tomatoes and whatever cheese is available.

I alternate ranch dressing and ketchup with fries if I use anything.

In the West Coast is called Best Foods...and the one with olive oil is the one I always buy...

It has less calories and fat than regular traditional mayo...and it tastes even better...olive oil rules.

Slightly buttered buns for burgers are awesome, lots of top notch burger joints use that technique, ask Scott and Sharry when we went to True Burger, they butter the buns, it's very tasty.

Also, in the art of pan searing steak, it's a great technique utilized by top notch chefs, the butter caramelizes and makes that great crust ontop a steak, I've do that too, again, delicious.

Have you seen Travel Channel's Burger Land?

The host shows one place in the East Coast were they offer burger practically swimming in butter, now, I personally think that was too much, but it's used in more establishment than you might think, lol.

                      Update!

Found the place for that buttered burger, Wisconsin...
