Even if a show was popular it doesn't necessarily mean it will make interesting toys. There are loads of 70s/80s sitcoms and dramas I do NOT want to see made into retro Mego-style figures.
Just a few off the top of my head.
Barney Miller
Eight is Enough
Love Boat
All in the Family
Jeffersons
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Barnaby Jones
Green Acres
Petticoat Junction
Fantasy Island
You know, I really can't see the Gilligan's Island stuff selling. Especially not in 12 inch scale.

Jm J Bullock and the entire cast of Too Close for Comfort.
But the Henry (Ted Knight) Rush versions would be cool. One would come with the Cosmic Cow puppet and the other with his art supplies. Both versions would have a mini comic featuring Cosmic Cow cartoon strips. Plus the daughters, Jackie (Deborah Van Valkenburgh) and Sara (Lydia Cornell), would come in a two pack (yes, I had a crush on those two when the show originally ran). Jm J Bullock could be left out for he was annoying so I would replace him with an actual Cosmic Cow figure.
Read my blog at Moongem Comics about comics, toys and more.
Now just a darn minute...the Partridge Family??? I would LOVE those re-Megos, especially Keith Partridge!!
But one I wouldn't wanna see is Larry the Cable Guy.

Hello
I bought a lot of junk off eBay and there's a head I'm not sure of who it is.
Can anyone help.
>Darn. I want Green Acres figures.
Sobering thought; EVERY show is SOMEBODY'S favourite....
As for the worst, going with the retro themr, I'd say Ray J. Johnson. ESPECIALLY with a talking feature. (Although it'd be easy figuring out what to make it say....)
