What a terrific movie. This just flowed so well and had some great characters. Tarrantino is hit or miss for me, but I loved this and Inglorious. The violence/humor/history of this just all worked for me. The blood was a little exaggerated, though. I rented form Redbox, but this may be purchase worthy.

Finally watched Django Unchained
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Totally agree!
I loved it at the movie theater, saw it twice there, then when it just came out a few days ago, I bought the Blu ray disc, saw it twice more, lol.
It's already one of my all time favorite Westerns of all times, I could be biased, because I love everything Quentin Tarrantino does.
Christopher Waltz and Jamie Fox were great, but I think Leonardo DiCaprio stole the show, what a great actor he has become, second only to Daniel Day Lewis right now.
Django was my favorite movie of the year.
I rate Django a ten out of ten.Last edited by Hector; Apr 21, '13, 7:17 PM.sigpic -

I liked it, but was so looking forward to it that I found myself disappointed in the end. I actually thought Leo and Sam Jackson were the weakest parts of the story, and the film went off the skids for me somewhat at that point. And then it just got cartoonish at the end...
I'd give it a solid B.Comment

I'm not a big western fan, but this just worked for me. Yes it has some cartoonish elements, but it's Tarrantino. Inglorious had the same formula. If I hadn't already returned this I'd watch it again.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I also agree DiCaprio is a great actor. And he gets my respect for cutting his hand in that one part, and never breaking scene. But come on... Waltz's performance was head and shoulders above everyone else in the film. If anyone "stole the show", it was him.Comment

Been wanting to see it and finally got from the Redbox. I completely loved this movie. The action was great, the comedy had me crying, especially when Stephen's character was introduced. Actually watching it again right now for the second time.
You know its worthy when one is willing to trade sleep to slip it into a viewing schedule. Two thumbs up.. 10 out of 10 stars.Comment

LOVED it!!!
A must purchase to add to the western collection.
The best western I have watched since Open Range.“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment
