Hey gang consisting of bluegrass fans... coming up this evening or morning I MUST share a couple videos with you all from these two young folks who came out and auditioned yesterday. They were simply fantastic! And the young lady of the duo is incredible as a budding singer / songwriter in her own right in the more traditional country vein. Amazing stuff.

Seriously this little lady is a mini Loretta Lynn / Crystal Gayle waiting to explode. This is what modern country should be...

Jim, as the son of a Bluegrass playing family, I can tell you those kids are GREAT. Wow, just fantastic. Kudos to you for giving them exposure like this. I wish them the best of luck, and I'd love to see Country get back to it's roots and drop this fascination with bad 80s/90s pop it seems to be mired in.

I grew up singing and playing in a family Bluegrass band. That was my world for a lot of years. Heck, I was probably 10 years old before I realized that Bill Monroe wasn't my grandfather.
It does my heart good to see kids so young carrying on the tradition. God bless 'em!Comment
