    Bluegrass fans?

Hey gang consisting of bluegrass fans... coming up this evening or morning I MUST share a couple videos with you all from these two young folks who came out and auditioned yesterday. They were simply fantastic! And the young lady of the duo is incredible as a budding singer / songwriter in her own right in the more traditional country vein. Amazing stuff.

But wait... there's more! Young Jessica also shared with my cameras an original tune she penned (her first btw)... if I was in the biz or if it were 40 years ago I'd have to press vinyl on this one. Seriously this little lady is a mini Loretta Lynn / Crystal Gayle waiting to explode. This is what modern country should be...

Jim, as the son of a Bluegrass playing family, I can tell you those kids are GREAT. Wow, just fantastic. Kudos to you for giving them exposure like this. I wish them the best of luck, and I'd love to see Country get back to it's roots and drop this fascination with bad 80s/90s pop it seems to be mired in.

You would do them a world of good Chris if you would say the same thing on youtube for them.

They really were fantastic. I'm sitting on some other footage that I'll be using in later weeks of the show and they are just on fire.

I grew up singing and playing in a family Bluegrass band. That was my world for a lot of years. Heck, I was probably 10 years old before I realized that Bill Monroe wasn't my grandfather.

It does my heart good to see kids so young carrying on the tradition. God bless 'em!
