First estate sale pickup of the year

first sale I went to this year since the weather has been so damn cold still in the Northeast. not a toy but I was happy. the wife and I have a fondness for antiques. from what I have found so far, it is from the 40's or fifties and they are going for between 300 and 500 on ebay, not that I am looking to resell. I paid $60. they had some other really cool stuff, most at great prices but i did not have the space to put it. there was a WWI army uniform with hat for $125.00 which I was really tempted to buy just because of it's history but ultimately passed.

I was at the same sale and I was going to pick up the uniform myself and passed on it. I did pick up a Star Wars postage stamp collecting kit and a few other things. Did you see the 48 star U.S. flag ?

yeah i saw the flag. it was big. I also was looking at the WWII winter coat for $12.00 and at the Sonoma Phongraph player/cabinet for $99.00. some really nice stuff.
the other thing I wanted was the bar stools but at $495.00 it was way too rich for me.
