Your favorite Six Million Dollar Man episode (pick ONE)

Last week I was babysitting 6 year old Cory, and we got to talking about the SMDM. This week, I'll break out the figures and maybe the TV show. It got me thinking...

There were a lot of good eps of this show, but some of the eps just stood out and were most talked about on the school playground. Which one was your favorite?

1) Venus Probe
2) Franklin's Robots/Fembots
3) Bigfoot (1st one, Bigfoiot returns, and the one where he's turning human)

Bigfoot stands out to me. When he rips his arm off I was like wow! As a kid

1. The Bionic Woman ... It's sappy but I love it

2. The Secret of Bigfoot ... Andre as Bigfoot and Stephanie with that dumb wig makes it great

3. Venus Space probe (both stories)

4. Kill Oscar --- Total fun

5. Day of the Robot .... John Saxon was the first fembot

I really like the first actual episode, Population Zero.
They were a lot more careful with the details in the beginning. I thought it was super cool when Steve was running across the desert, picking up speed, and only had sweat under his left arm.
Throwing that fence post with the huge concrete chunk on it was just the most awesome thing ever.

Last year I got myself the German DVD boxset of the first three seasons of the SMDM for about $35. It was my own birthday present. This was my favorite TV series when I was a kid and been having so much fun watching the episodes! I recommend you this boxset if you're not into spending $300 for the complete five-season American release. Anyway, to the point:

There's SO many episodes, but if I have to choose my best three:

1.- Return of the Robot Maker. I was so impressed being a kid Col. Austin would get the Goldman impostor by noticing the sweat on his eyebrow!
2.- The Day of the Robot. The fight with John Saxon is awesome. Even better than when Col. Austin tore Big Foot's arm apart!
3.- The Last Kamikaze. As a kid I was interested in History. And to have the chance to think of the possibility of a soldier that's been lost for over 20 years still believing the war isn't over was nothing short of amazing. Plus, the Robinson Crusoe kind of life the Japanese lead in the Island was very intriguing to me.

I also believe the first Big Foot episode was awesome. Back then everybody was talking about the possibility of some Big Foot to be caught alive somewhere, and all of a sudden the episode came out. The fight was awesome and having a chance to see Stephanie Powers in her early 30's was an extra treat Of course that goes to all the episodes with Farrah. I remember wanting to grow up to look like Lee Majors and have a wife just like Farrah. It's been pretty much a disappoint seeing whatever happened with me ever since first watching the series, LOL!

I later became a huge fan of The Fall Guy. You could say Lee Majors was a hero and sort of a role model to me

Not the best but I kinda like the one where the crazy scientist on the Moon one (2 parter).

BTW...Cory and I had fun tonight w/ my Kenner figures. Then we watched the first 20 mins. of Bigfoot V before his dad picked him up.

The Bigfoot and the Venus Probe episodes will always be my favourites, followed by the Fembots.
