My mom was a big fan of hers, from the Mickey Mouse Club to the beach movies. There was always something about her that reminded me a bit of my mom as well.
I know she's had a rough last several decades. RIP.

Came across a clip on You Tube a couple of years ago of Annette singing the song in which the instrumentals were eventually re-arranged for 'Johnny's Theme' on The Tonight Show.Comment

I don't think I can link it here but there is a cartoon on Facebook that has a somber Mickey Mouse in darkness looking at Annette's mouse ears which have a light on it shining down from above.
When I think of Annette I have to think of Grease. She's mentioned in "look at me, I'm Sandra Dee" and Kenickee talks about how nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's.
By all accounts, Annette was a loved and classy lady, RIP.Comment
