Scrolling action for individual MM forums on my laptop

OK, so my dinosaur PC is in the shop, (yes again ), so I've been using my laptop. I notice that when I want to go to a certain section here on MM, I can't just click on the scroll bar and slide down the menu, I have to use the scrolling button on my mouse. If the mouse isn't hooked up, I have to press both my right and left buttons by the touch pad to scroll down the menu. On my dinosaur, I don't have this problem. My laptop is an HP w/ Windows 7 that came out just a couple of years ago. Does anyone else have this issue?

so what you are saying is that if you want a page to scroll down using the mouse pointer, "dragging" the scroll bar down is not working correct? Is it just this site or for everything?

    what browser are you using?

It's just this site, and I said I have Windows 7.

sorry for the late reply but if it is just this site it might be an issue with the type of board design being used that may or may not be causing a minor conflict with your mouse and touch dial mouse on the laptop.

PS: your browser is not your operating system silly. Your browser is the program you use to view things online (like firefox or internet explorer). -- actually if you could try this site in another browser that would be great. This way it will verify if the browser is causing the problem

Well, on the laptop it's IE. Now that I have my dinosaur back, I'm OK. but the weird thing is that when Mego Museum changed to this format, it was working fine on my laptop. Then one day and eveytime since, I've had that problem.

hmmm I was going to say that you could download and try out mozilla firefox on your laptop since it will work side by side with IE and see if the same issue still happens. Sounds more like a scripting error and prob something with crappy IE, but I could not tell you what is activating that bug
