The most ridiculous thing of the day.

rotfl, Brittney Griner thinks she can play in the NBA and so does Cuban.

She's insane. The best high school boys team could beat any women's major college team, just as any men's cbbk team - div 1-3 - could beat a WNBA team. Got tired of her showboating, and karma bit her in the a s s when they lost last week.

Griner has barely a 18-20 inch vertical leap (NBA players average in the mid 20s, and some athletically gifted superstars can jump over 40 inches)...with a 6' 8" frame, she dunks, but rather softly in comparison to a dude...zero thunder...and look at her opposition...women who many average under six feet tall.

She's too thin and fragile for the men's game...she's also too slow as well.

          I'm all for equality and all, but come on...let's get real...that's why there's a man's game...and there's a woman's game.

There are NBA guards that are 6' 8" for Christ's sakes...and Griner's set skill level is as a center...she cannot play guard...and if she plays center...imagine her going against someone like Dwight Howard, lol.

Top NCAA men's college have a super tough time as rookies in the NBA...now imagine Griner, please.

Griner and Cuban are both out of their minds, lol.

However...I'm definitely not against her trying out, I'd say let her...for a rude reality check.

she's a beast in women's basketball and I give her props for that...but being able to make it in the NBA is comical ...No way in freakin hell...

Lol, could you imagine LBJ driving to the rim and she's the only thing in the way. They would have to call for the stretcher. She's probably the best ever in woman's basketball, but no way. Just another Mark Cuban stunt, he can't even draft decent men players.

Actually, what Cuban thinks is that she would sellout meaningless summer league games because the public will be curious to see how she does. And that a late draft pick rarely catches on with the team anyhow, so picking for "the spectacle" could be the smartest decision. And I think he is absolutely correct in his assessment.

As for Griner... she didn't bring it up, Cuban did. What is she supposed to say? However, the WNBA draft will have happened before any of this comes to pass; and she will undoubtedly go #1 overall. I don't see her giving up on that to play a couple weeks in the NBA.

But this does keep people talking about Mark Cuban at a time when there is no longer any reason to talk about the Mavs... so "mission accomplished".

Could have sworn that everyone knew that organize sport/team sports were just a stooge for the gaming industry anyway. But then a skateboarder/surfer [ex-butterfly/breaststroke] would promote individual sport. Show me a good team, I'll show you a couple of stars and a whole pack o' cats just treading water. More power to Griner, Grrrl's kick *** !
