Just a quick update. I talked to my Mom and she said MaryBeth had a good night last night, which was a positive sign according to the doctors. You all how the first 24 hours can be on things like this. They were going to try and start taking her off the ventilator this afternoon and to start letting her wake up some. She was wearing a neck brace when I saw her last night and will continue to do so until they are sure nothing is wrong with her neck and spine. If you saw the pictures of the car you would swear no one could have survived that. But the damnest thing is she doesn't have a single scratch on her face, arms or legs. Everything was internal. She had 2 collapsed lungs, her spleen was removed and she had a tear in her liver.

Thanks for all the prayers. I will pass them along when I go to the hospital again tonight.

My cousin, MaryBeth, was invloved in a car wreck yesterday morning on her way to school. She is 15. The driver she rode with was killed and she is in very bad shape. Please put my family in your prayers. I may not be on the boards as much in the coming days. I will keep everyone posted on her progress.
