When Things Were Rotten? Mel Brooks?

Find a list of new movie and TV releases on DVD and Blu-ray (updated weekly) as well as a calendar of upcoming releases on home video.

I never heard of this show, but it sounds right up my alley. Also, it sounds like a precursor to "Robin Hood: Men in Tights", which has suddenly became one of the most over-played movies on standard cable...

Didn't Henry Polic II play Dracula on "Monster Squad"? He was also the Scarecrow on BTAS (but not TNBA, that was Jeffery Combs).

I remember the opening pictures from this show but that is it. I wonder how it holds up?
Zombie? Vampire? Evil clown?!? Yes, please.

I loved "When Things Were Rotten" when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in nearly 40 years, but I can still remember the damn theme song. Nice to see it actually get a DVD release, I'm not sure if it would hold up for me today though (kinda doubting it)

It was one I remember watching, the theme song still sticks in my head. Haven't seen it since the original airings in the early 70s.

Haven't seen this show since it's original network run. Mel, along with Buck Henry also created Get Smart.
