Seems like its having trouble connecting when hitting a site for the first time. I was thinking maybe it was just a high traffic weekend.Comment

It's basic broadband thru Cox Cables bundle in my area. I think they have different grades of speed and mine is probably the lowest. It's noticeable and usually faster when connecting.Comment

So do you have DSL or Cable Modem? If Cox then likely you have cable and would recommend contacting their tech support to test your modem and speeds.
Another thing to keep in mind is that when you are on CM in a dense area with other subscribers, you are prone to slows speeds during peak times (early evenings and weekends) due to people simultaneously online pulling high data rate content. Reason being is you are on the same line as other folks despite having your own subscription.
Think of it as being on a LAN at work and everyone is watching content online and pulling large files over the network and you will notice the slow speeds. All depended on the switch capacities and configurations.Comment

Saturday is actually the worst, going slow all day, then sometimes dropping the connection completely and I have to unplug the modem and reset it. It's pooptarded.Comment
