Romo is 17 games over .500 as a starter the past 6 yrs. You really think that puts him in the upper echelon of QBs?

I'm hearing Donovan McNabb is pretty miffed about this.

Make that 3 of us. If Romo had some of the teams that Brady and Manning had around them, he would have a ring or two.

all things aside like a couple have mentioned, he's a very servicable guy . . . what they need is a Offensive Line . . . . well it's pretty offensive right now but you know what I mean!! a new GM might help too but that's a totally different thread

Really? Stats are all that matter? So, you'd consider Vinny Testaverde, Kerry Collins, Dave Krieg, Jim Everett, and Matt Hasselbeck the top 20 greatest QBs of all-time? Because those 5 guys rank in the top 21 all-time in passing yards.

You really believe the teams with these QBs would trade any of them for Tony Romo?:

              Aaron Rodgers
              Tom Brady
              Eli Manning
              Peyton Manning
              Drew Brees
              Joe Flacco
              Matt Ryan
              Phillip Rivers
              Cam Newton
              Ben Rothlisberger
              Jay Cutler
              Matthew Stafford
              RG3
and possibly Kaepernick and Russel Wilson.

15 guys - basically 1/2 the league. You might be able to convince someone Rothlesberger is past his prime and Cutler is so wishy-washy that he'd be a tossup with Romo. But Romo in the Top 10 QBs today? No way. As I said....bottom half of the league is where he fits.

Dude, you're trying to convince a Dolphins fan. Ask Dan Marino if he'd rather have all of his stats or a Super Bowl ring.

I didn't even list Andrew Luck who took a 2-14 team from last year to as many playoff wins than Romo has in 6 years!

Yes, he was...to us Seattlelites....but he was an average QB...just because he racked up passing yards doesn't mean he was great. I love old Mudbone!

I see 7 guys I would take over Romo on your list. 2 years ago Big Ben would have been there, too. Then there's 2-4 toss ups. I'd say he's in the top 8-12 range..

I'd take Ryan Tannehill over Romo. Watch Miami make the Playoofs this year and Tannehill to become a contender.
