I think I can hear Hector panting over that thing.
Real nice roar there at the end!
What size pipes will be on the car when the motor goes in? No less than 3 inch I hope, anything smaller will quite that beast down.
Looks super clean, any idea how many miles were on the motor? -

Hey Ben, no idea on the miles, but it doesn't matter because it was a complete rebuild. Everything is new and top quality. It's only the original block and the was hot tanked and bored 30 over. Everything is brand new except the parts we threw on to fire it. We've done so many of the Cleveland's, that I don't have to dyno it to know is about 489-500 hp. Heads ere also hot tanked and shaved 100 thousandthsComment

Jamie had already show me the engine video via PM, but not the still pics, it looks awesome.
I myself have my new engine almost done (I told Jamie this), I'm so happy, I'll be ready to show pictures in a couple of weeks.
Jamie's engine has more HP, in the 500+ range, mine is a smaller 306, it will have about 350 HP, more than enough for my needs, lol.sigpicComment

BTW, I was pretty ignorant about engines until being educated by you...I'm your humble Padawan, oh great Jamie Jedimaster, lol.sigpicComment

Your engine is going to be great. 350 is plenty. I just like the big block heads and with that comes the ability to increase the HP pretty easy. I'm just a one upper by nature. lolComment

That's a beauty! Should it be blue?View My Customs

Traditionally old school Ford engines are indeed blue, but some models were painted differently, example, the 64 1/2 Mustang's engine came in black, and the inline six cylinders were painted red.
My Mustang is a 64 1/2, but I took out the original engine and stored it, I'm now going with a blue-colored 306, I'm going for the restomod look, not original.
It's all personal preference, I dig Jamie's red engine.sigpicComment
