i was at the cow palace for the sf hot rod show back in january and they had a tribute area of star cars. this one guy owned everything in that area. check out the cars...

Wow! a chain cent or even a disme with chisel marks on the face. Wow! Now those are the big guns in collecting. Repros haven't hampered them a bit.

I need to take a metal detector to Colonial Williamsburg. Too bad they're not allowed.

There are a lot of town forests in any of the original colonies you could use a detector in.
I know when you walking in the woods in MA you will often come across an old stonewall (or what’s left of one). This normally marks the boundary of an old farm, when plowing they took the rocks out and used them for a wall. You never know what you will find on these old lands.
