    Not allowed to watch this here, but I hear smoked mackrel arent really smoked, put pulled through a solution to give them that smoked taste and smell. It would be too expensive to use real wood.

      Hmm, not here. Fish is a fast smoke.3 hours at the most, for a healthy fillet.

        Yes, I've seen every episode of Man vs Food, lol.

        This is almost the technique used for making lechon throughout Latin America, the only difference, the pig is buried underground. Latinos also don't add that apple cider/vinegar/sweet stuff, they like it straight up savory, barbacue is also not used.

        Man, you get juicy fall off the bone meat with crunchy delicious skin, all in one bite, one of God's greatest foods, double yum, lol.

            Yea Man, He wasn't using any bbq sauce either. I would really like to know what was in the second pitcher. I''ve been on a smoking binge and bbq sauce just masks the taste of the great smoked meat. But, a little liquid heat would be nice..
