    Early Star Trek publicity photos

I am wondering why I am having such a tough time tracking down good quality versions of the early Star Trek publicity photos. I am talking about the ones that are so early they were done with "not quite there" uniforms and not on the Enterprise sets. The ones that were used a lot for the Gold Key comics. Spock holding a beaker,Spock holding the Enterprise model, The enterprise model in front of a sky background. Kirk holding a futuristic microphone thingy. I do have some of these photos to be sure but not good quality and I can't seem to find actual photo prints anywhere and I know they are out there.

Have you tried Movie Market on eBay? They've been in business for decades.

I've always wondered ... is the Enterprise photo on the right colorized ?

Almost every time I used to see it - pre-internet it was always in B&W

My favorites are the ones with Kirk, Spock and Rand, and giant flashlights!

Grace Lee Whitney looks VERY different in those photos. It's obvious she put on a lot of weight during her brief run on the show. She doesn't even look like the person from these early photos to her actual screen time.

No, that photo is in color and was used for The Making Of Star Trek and some early toys. The odd thing about that smaller model is the saucer section. The dip down on the bottom levels off on that model while the large model fully dips down.
