So, a lot of you are aware of my wife's deteriorating condition, but things got worse a couple of hours ago. She was admitted last night with severe abdominal pain similar to her last twelve bowel obstructions. They found a hole(perforation) in her small bowel about 4PM and rushed her into the OR. She was leaking into her abdominal cavity and chest. If we hadn't got her to the ER last night, she wouldn't have lasted more than another day. She's still in plenty of danger as this surgery is very, very risky. I'm sitting in the waiting room as I write this. Sorry to post this, but I need to keep my mind occupied while I wait. We've managed to keep her out of the operating room for five years, but this is a life saving, essential surgery. I'll probably be doing a lot of board reading for the next few hours, but I can't think of another place on the web I'd rather be.
