    Benard Hopkins makes history...Again!

Last night Benarnd Hopkins became the oldest boxer to win a major title, scoring a 12-round unanimous decision over Tavoris Cloud to claim the IBF light heavyweight championship.

He's always been a favorite of mine. This guy never seems to age, he's timeless.

I missed the fight. Amazing for sure at 48 yrs old! I heard the fight itself was slow paced. This would be a perfect time for Hopkins to retire on top.

As long as he doesn't fight Andre Ward, he should be fine.

        Congrats to the old man!

I'd pay money to see Leonard and Hearns go at it again in their fifties/sixties.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

My favorite Hopkins fight was when he took out then undefeated Felix Trinidad. The Executioner was truly impressive. I agree with toysrus, now is the time to retire.

Hopkins' ego is too big...he won't.

He'll retire after he eventually gets KTFO, lol.

Yep, it usually comes down to too much ego or too much debt that causes a fighter to stay longer than he should; tarnishing his image and taking a few serious beat-downs along the way. Roy Jones Jr. comes to mind.
