Toot-a-Loop? Take 'n' Tape? Panapet? What was your fave 70s Panasonic product?

    panasonic+radiosi.jpg

So what Panasonic products did you groove to in the 70s? What color was it? Where did you take it?

I had a red Toot-a-Loop radio that I got for my 8th birthday. I used to listen to WABC in NYC on it. It went all over w/ me, and lasted me until past high-school. I also had the '77 version of the Take 'n' Tape, (a little sleeker than the '73 version) in red that I got for my 11th birthday. I loved taping my brother's records, making goofy recording w/ my friends, heck I even audio taped "The Wiz" when it came on TV. I had it until my mid 20s.

I have a Toot-a-Loop now, (missing the tuning dial), but I would really love to have that Take 'n' Tape again.

What memories do you have of these colorful 70s music makers?

Speaking of 8-tracks, I did leave out the Dyn-O-Mite Panasonic 8-track player (but I ran outta room in the title! )

My brother had the Parapet radios. I'm not sure of the color. I want to say either red and yellow or red and blue. I look at them on ebay from time to time.

Not Panasonic, but I have a working one of these JVC Videosphere's at my office, with the clock radio too!

Love this stuff! I collect it! Never bought a piece off eBay all of it found at fleas/yard sales/thrifts.

Love those panasonic r-70 radios. Have about 4 (one is boxed).

Not panasonic, but I found this guy last week for $25 at a thrift:
