I LOVE this show! I remember being so mad when it was cancelled, but then it re-appeared in reruns. Juliet Mills was really great in this. I loved that "Nanny magic" chime that would play whenever she knew something or something was about to happen. I loved Richard Long in this too (RIP). I saw him in this before I saw reruns of Big Valley. And it's ashame about Trent Lehman (Butch). He died so tragically.

I think this is still going on Hulu.

My only exposure to this show was a comic book i found at a used book store. I have never actually seen the show.

Wasn't there an animated version, too, like part of the Saturday Superstar Movie?

It was part of the ABC Friday Night Line-up from 1970-72, I believe.

Neither have I. I remember watching both with my mom on Friday nights, and especially liking The Ghost & Mrs Muir for some reason. Probably completely different reasons than the original movie which I love (holding on tight to my guy card) for being one of the moat romantic movies ever without being sappy.

I recall "Ghost & Mrs. Muir" but not "Nanny..."

I've seen David Doremus in "The Waltons" & even "SHAZAM!"

I watched the clip, and I THINK I may have seen that when I was very young. It seemed somewhat familiar. Or maybe I just remember Richard Long from Big Valley reruns, and the Twilight Zone episode where everyone has to make themselves handsome by their teen years...
