It was more 1980's, but I remember being an avid viewer of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" when it first aired, I loved that show.
I liked that quite a bit. In Composition class in 10th grade, we had to watch episodes of Cosmos (as well as parts of 2001: A Space Odyssey) and write essays on them.
