    70s Science shows

On TVO, there was a British Show called "Don't Ask Me" that had this catchy prog rock tune as it's theme. I can't find any clips so here is "She blinded me with Science" which has "Don't Ask Me" host Dr Magnus Pyke providing the "SCIENCE" part of the song.

We got like eight channels as a kid, so I ended up watching cheap-o stuff like "What will they think of next"

Joseph Campenella was the ex husband on "One Day at a Time" but I think he had like 15 years on Bonnie Franklin.

    Anybody remember these shows?

So what's Blue Peter, exactly? I thought that was a science show, but I'm a Yank and haven't seen it.

Blue Peter is like a magzine show for 6-14 year olds,it would have stuff like, caring for a pet, making something, visiting different places, all sorts of things really.

It was more 1980's, but I remember being an avid viewer of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" when it first aired, I loved that show.

I liked Cosmos. I sort of looked at 321 Contact as a science-y show at times.
                      It's all good!

I too remember watching Don't Ask Me on Canadian TV. There was some cool stuff on that show, if I recall.

Never liked Blue Peter. Probably because the presenters always annoyed me.
Those with Doctor Who DVDs will have noticed some clips from BP shows in the special features of various releases.

Throw Nimoy's In Search Of... in the pile too. Not hard science, but dare I say... Fascinating?

I remember What Will They Think of Next, I was telling somebody at work about it the other day. It came up because we were talking about all the terrible TV shows we watched as kids because our choices were so limited. I seem to remember an episode that focused on the guy that had a spike accidently pierce his head. It had a cheap Canadian Starlost look to it.
