    Retro Saturday Morning dvd

I had a bunch of Saturday morning cartoon and live action tapes, and also a tape of 70's commercials (toys, cereals) and decided to do something cool with them. I have a side by side dvd/video recorder, so I decided to do an experiment with the tapes and recorder. I wanted to make a dvd that had the old Saturday mornings shows I had on tape, with some commercials thrown in, and also some School House Rock segments thrown in just like they were back in the day. So, I did it, and it came out really good. Its not a professional cut and splice blend, but it came out pretty good with what I had. Its like watching Saturday morning tv back in the day when I pop it in. I made a volume 1 and 2.
    Shows that are on them:

Scooby Doo (Where are you) 69
    Run Joe Run
    Isis
    Shazam
Return To The Planet Of The Apes
    Lost Saucer
Land Of The Lost Many School House Rock Segments Also
    Fat Albert
    Hong Kong Phooey
    Some retro toy commercials like:
    Evil Knievel Crash/Stunt car
    Spider Man
    Aurora Racers
    Hot Wheels
    Big Jim
    Barbie
And some cereal commercials of course. Whats a Saturday without being pitched the latest and greatest cereals?
The dvds came out of. i like to pop them in some Saturday mornings, and relive it all again....They are about 5-6 hrs in length. Not Bad.....

I have a massive collection of Saturday morning live action and cartoons from the 70s. For 3 hours every Saturday morning, I'm 9 years old again. I do have SchoolHouse Rock and some toy and food ads as well, and sometimes, I'll turn on You Tube and toss in some cereal commercials for good measure. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to do this! Rock on, Dogman!

          DVD

Thanks. Yeah, the dvd's came out pretty good I have to admit. I do wish I had more programs to put on them, like some you guys mentioned, and a few others. I wish I could find Tarzan(Ron Ely) and also, the Childrens Film Festival would be cool to put on them....
